Elio Nuvoloni

Elio Nuvoloni was born in Turin on May 11, 1920. Self-taught, he started painting at the age of six. As an adult he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Bologna, studies that he did not complete.

He has the title of Metallurgical Industrial Expert, which he has never used. His only concern has been art.

He spent many years in Paris where he exhibited his paintings, also doing so in Ancona, Florence, Pescara, Milan and Rome.

Many of his works are scattered among the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna and in private collections in Italy, France, England, Germany, Luxembourg, the United States and now in Spain.

In 1962 he journeyed to Spain for the first time and in 1966 he settled permanently in Barcelona. There he was co-founder of the ZUT Group, which included a group of poets, plastic artists, photographers, musicians, etc., committed to their era and ready to express in unison their conceptions of the current world in which they lived.
